He was surprised to see warriors with strange armor and very deep-set eyes fighting among the clones of the Scorpions. They were fighting with frightening fervor and no sounds were coming from their mouths.
A huge shape suddenly appeared from the fray and, after slaying a templar, settled in front of Severian. The ophidian flicked his tongue with a horrible hiss to taste the acrid smell of war. Faced with this creature, the officer of the Temple was struck by instinctive disgust. Rising inside of him he could sense the ageless fear felt by a prey when faced with a predator.
The novel The Ashes of Wrath, provided with the miniature of S’Erum (OPROM 01), announced the appearance of the Ophidian Alliance on the battlefields. The ophidian warriors are here to confirm the rumors about the terrifying power of this forgotten nation: INI 5, ATT/STR 6/8, DEF/RES 5/7, Consciousness and Toxic/3. The presence of slaves (OPRG 01) at their sides allows them to resist huge armies and slay the strongest of opponents.
