Hidden in an abandoned basement in the outskirts of Cadwallon, the Skinners were dismembering their latest victims according to the instructions of their mysterious Syhar patron. The men were talking about their next crimes when the mangled body of their lookout came crashing down the steps. A massive figure hidden under a huge cloak then appeared. The members of the gang grabbed their bludgeons and their axes. The cloak, stained with fresh blood, fell to the ground to reveal a master of carnage. Flashing a sadistic smile, the Devourer brandished his weapons with the clanking of chains.
The first master of carnage was made to do a maximum of damage in a minimum of time. The second one, endowed with different characteristics and abilities, is made for more tactical yet just as lethal combat. He has the “Born killer,” “Sequence” and “Warrior-mage” abilities (allowing him to perform counter-attacks) combined with MOV 15, INI 4, ATT/STR 5/7 and DEF/RES 6/7.
This blister pack includes 1 miniature and 4 reference cards: Master of carnage (reference card), The Path of Perfection (explanatory card), The Art of Fury (spell, 10 A.P.), Bloody Guard (spell, 6 A.P.).
Master of carnage
Rank: Devourer Warrior-mage.

Please note: The text of the “Path of Perfection” card has been modified.
THE PATH OF PERFECTION
Once per round, when it’s his turn to act during an incantation phase, a master of carnage can transform all or some of his gems of Water into “fury points” (1 gem = 2 fury points). He can then transmit these to a friendly fighter in base-to-base contact with him and who is equipped with one of the types of chains described below.
A fighter can receive fury points from only one master of carnage per round. If he does not spend them, then from one round to the next the fighter can accumulate a maximum number of fury points equal to his ATT as printed on his reference card. A master of carnage cannot produce fury points for himself, but he can receive them from another friendly master of carnage in base-to-base contact with him.
A fighter can unleash his fury right before a specific roll of the die. The kind of roll affected by this power depends on the chains that the fighter has.
Chains of Cruelty, of Carnage or of Destiny: ATT or DEF.
Chains of Affliction, of Ferocity or of Bitterness: INI or STR.
Chains of Calamity, of Hecatomb or of Apocalypse: ATT, DEF or STR.
STR can thus be increased before a Damage Roll.
All fury points are spent at the same time. The result of the chosen roll is increased by an equal number of points. A result of “1” on the die nevertheless remains a failure.

The parts of the Master of Carnage 2 are compatible with those of the first model.
