In battle these Bolt Throwers can fire either a single bolt or a hail of steel-tipped death. This flexibility means the Repeater Bolt thrower can target a wide range of enemy troops with great success. You can include up to two Bolt Throwers as a single Rare Unit in your army. The boxed set contains one complete Bolt Thrower with crew.
High Elves have no need for the crude black powder weapons of other races. Instead, they use the simple torsion powered bolt throwers of their forefathers, content with weapons that will not blow up in their faces.
The 'Eagles Claw' bolt thrower, as the repeater is usually called, is a versatile weapon and by far the most common of these devices. It is lightly made, though sturdy, and is easily portable. This makes it highly adaptable and it is widely used both on ship and on shore. In fact, the same individual weapon can be used in either location as they are designed to be taken from their mountings and carried with the Seaguard when they venture forth.
Up to 2 Repeater Bolt Throwers may be included as a single Rare unit choice in a High Elves or Sea Patrol Army.
